“It was a chapter in my life, which is over now. I’ve left that space now. Chahal also found himself at the center of a controversy when he was spotted wearing a “Be your own sugar daddy” T-shirt during court proceedings. The move sparked backlash online, with a section of social media users unfairly labeling Dhanashree Verma a “gold-digger.”While the cricketer did not directly address the backlash in the interview, his recent comments suggest he is keen to put the entire episode behind him. Clarifying where he stands emotionally today, Chahal said the closure came immediately after the legal process ended.“It was done and dusted right after stepping out of the court,” he asserted.
