The 3.4 -minute clip dropped online and it is already teases a sweping, emotional and commercial conclusion to the story of our face witches – Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba and Ariana Glinda. Picking up after the events of ‘wicked’, the trailer presents Elphaba Living in Exile, Branded as the “Wicked Witt of the West,” While Glinda Embrace Her Role as the Public FACE and Sporads “in Emerald City. Just as glinda, under the guidance of Madame Morrible, Begins to Gain the Trust of the People, Elphaba Returns to Warn them “Our Wizard Lies.”Fans of the musical will be pleased to spot family and new musical highlights. The trailer gives a taste of “no good deed” performed by erivo, along with the duet ‘changed for good’.
New character
The clip also gives us gives us gives of the framed characters from the wizard of oz story. The film features glimpses of the tin man, the lion, dorothy and the Scarecrow. The characters were introduced in the first film, howyver, it remain to be seen how big a role they play in the new film.
