Virat Kohli’s brother Vikas wrote a vague Instagram Story on Friday morning where he sarcastically slammed the misinformation and fake news doing the rounds. The social media post came at a time when reports circulated that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had made their move to the UK permanent.In the Instagram Story, Vikas – who goes by vk0681 – wrote, “I am not surprised about so much misinformation and fake news going around these days…. Some people are so free and have lots of time to do so… Good luck to you guys.”
The reports claimed the star cricketer was planning a permanent move to the UK with his Bollywood actress wife. Anushka Sharma and his two children. It further claimed that Virat Kohli reportedly handed over the General Power of Attorney of his Rs 80 crore Gurugram house to his brother.

According to News18, the Power of Attorney gives Kohli’s brother full authority to handle all property-related matters, including its maintenance and potential sales, while Virat is away. The move reportedly sparked discussions about the couple’s long-term plans to settle abroad.Currently, Kohli is in Australia for the three-match ODI series that gets underway on Sunday. This will be his first appearance on the cricket field since the IPL final for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and for India since winning the Champions Trophy.A lot of focus in the three-match ODI series is on Kohli and Rohit Sharma who could be playing their last series in Australia with their careers moving towards the closing stages.Meanwhile, Anushka and their children, Vamika and Akaay, have been living in London since early this year. When not playing cricket, Kohli has been spotted spending time with his family in and around the British capital.Even as conversations do the rounds over the couple’s permanent residence, they’ve not said anything officially.
