Speaking from Switzerland, where he was visiting a DDLJ shooting location, Anupam said he was in a happy mood until he received the heartbreaking news.“What is happening? In three days, we lost three amazing people. I have known all of them — Asrani, Piyush Pandey, and now Satish Shah,” he said in a trembling voice. “My smile hides a lot of sorrow. Every time I called him, I would be like, ‘Satish, mere Shah!’ and he would reply, ‘Mere Jahapana!’”He paused briefly, put on his glasses, and added, “I am wearing glasses, these tears will not stop.
