Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara’s film ‘Parasakthi’ has now reached a point where the numbers are very low. On day 23 the movie collected only Rs 6 lakhs. Many films slow down after the third week and Parasakthi is now going through the same phase.

The worldwide total stands at Rs 84.78 crore according to Sacnilk website reports. The India net is Rs 52.34 crore. India gross is Rs 61.93 crore and the overseas number is Rs 22.85 crore. These numbers show that the film opened well and had a strong first week but slowly lost pace.
Tamil day wise numbers keep dropping
Day 23 made Rs 6 lakhs. Day 22 made Rs 5 lakhs. Day 21 made Rs 3 lakhs and day 20 made Rs 5 lakhs. The Tamil net box office total is Rs 52.34 crore. The film follows siblings Chezhiyan, played by Sivakarthikeyan, and Chinnadurai, played by Atharvaa. They lead a student movement against the imposition of Hindi as an official language. The movie shows how they face government pressure, social anger, and personal struggles while fighting for their rights.
The planned Pongal clash never happened
‘Parasakthi’ was supposed to clash with Vijay’s Jana Nayagan during Pongal. Many fans expected a big showdown at the box office. But Vijay’s film was postponed because of certification delays. So the clash never happened. Later, Sudha Kongara spoke about this in an interview and said she never had any intention to compete with Vijay’s film. She shared that she has a very warm bond with him and admires him deeply.

In the interview with India Today Sudha Kongara said, “I love Vijay. I am probably his biggest fan, and there is no doubt about it. Even Vijay knows it. I have met him and told him the same.”She also revealed that she and Vijay once discussed doing a film together but it did not work out. She said, “At one point, we were supposed to do a film together, but it did not pan out due to various reasons.
