Orry gets slammed for disrespecting Lata Mangeshkar, Falguni Pathak; Rajiv Adatia says, 'There is a fine line of being funny'
Popular content creator Orry found himself in hot water after allegedly ridiculing beloved legends Lata Mangeshkar and Falguni Pathak. Rajiv Adatia, known from ‘Bigg Boss’, didn’t hold back in condemning Orry’s comments, calling them disrespectful and ignorant. Fans rallied behind Adatia, applauding his efforts to defend Mangeshkar, a revered figure in music.

Internet personality Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, recently faced backlash for allegedly mocking late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and Garba queen Falguni Pathak. ‘Bigg Boss 15’ fame Rajiv Adatia slammed the social media influencer. The controversy began when Orry attended Pathak’s concert, where he said, “Falguni peacock singing on stage.” He also referred to the legend as “Lata Mangeshwari” and added that she was the “queen of Garba.”

    Rajiv Adatia reacts

Rajiv took to social media to express his anger, saying, “This is not funny. It’s disrespectful. Lata ji was like family to me. She treated me like her own son.”He added, “Lata Mangeshkar is a Bharat Ratna awardee, the pride of India. She was the first Indian singer to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London and inspired countless artists.”The ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant called out Orry’s comments, labeling them as “offensive and ignorant.”He continued, “Comedy is fine, but disrespect is not. Know the difference.” In the caption of his post, he wrote, “@falgunipathak12, we love you, Ma’am. I apologize for the immaturity of certain individuals.”

Fans react to Rajiv Adatia’s video

Fans extended their support to Rajiv in the comments section. One person wrote, “Very sad. How is this even COOL?? Proud of you for bringing this up.” Another added, “It’s so good to see that you take a stand for what is right rather than just accepting everything to avoid controversies or to maintain friendships.”Another user commented, “I have a lot of respect for you ❤️ glad someone spoke up instead of following the blind wagon.” And the other one wrote, “Good to see someone from within the industry taking a stand for the legend. Thank you, Rajiv, for showing them the levels.”Even Rakhi Sawant chimed in, dropping fire emojis in the comments.
