    Legendary actor Dharmendra passes away at 89

    Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 on November 24 at his residence in Mumbai. The Hindi cinema legend’s demise sparked widespread grief in the film industry, marking “the end of an era.” The funeral was held at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and others attended the funeral.

    Tributes pour in from across the industry

    Not just from the Hindi movie industry but also from the South cinema, stars took to their social media accounts to mourn the loss of the film legend. Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and many more expressed their grief on social media.SRK posted an emotional note, calling Dharmendra “nothing short of a father figure.” Priyanka called his demise a “big loss to cinema” and also referred to him as a “true-blue Hindi film hero.” Rajinikanth also remembered him, calling him a friend with a “golden heart.”

    After the news of Dharmendra’s demise surfaced, several Bollywood events were cancelled. The song launch event of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ was postponed as a mark of respect. Not just that, the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa canceled its entertainment programs (on-stage performances) for Nov 24.

    Jimmy Cliff passes away

    Jamaican reggae singer and Jimmy actor Cliff passed away at age 81 on 24 November 2025. Reportedly, he suffered a seizure followed by pneumonia, according to a statement from his wife, Latifa Chambers.

    Ranbir Kapoor to join Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas

    According to the Deccan Chronicle report, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor will be making a special appearance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next film ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas in the lead. A source told the publication that RK’s cameo will be incorporated “at a crucial juncture of the storytelling.” His appearance will become the “turning point in the plot,” of the movie.

    Smriti Mandhana deletes pre-wedding posts with Palaash Muchhal

    After postponing their marriage, which was supposed to take place on November 23, due to her father’s health issues, Smriti Mandhana has removed all her wedding-related posts (engagement, proposal, pre-wedding functions) from her Instagram. On the day of her wedding, her manager told media that the couple’s wedding has been postponed indefinitely, adding that the cricketer has expressed that she will wait until her father recovers.
