Gujarati film 'Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate' crosses Rs 76 Crore, becomes 36th biggest Indian hit of 2025
Gujarati cinema is experiencing an unprecedented surge with Ankit Sakhiya’s ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’. This modest Rs 50 lakh film has defied expectations, amassing Rs 76.55 crore and becoming the highest-grossing Gujarati film ever. Its remarkable journey, fueled by exceptional word-of-mouth, has positioned it as the 36th biggest Indian hit of 2025, proving a true blockbuster phenomenon.

Gujarati cinema is witnessing one of its most extraordinary moments ever, and the credit goes to Ankit Sakhiya’s Laalo -Krishna Sada Sahaayate. The film, starring Karan Joshi, Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Anshu Joshi, and Kinnal Nayak, has rewritten the rules of Gujarati cinema. When it comes to regional cinema the space is usually dominated by Telugu or Tamil or Kannada cinema. But this is the first time a Gujarati film has made everyone sit up and notice the industry. After 47 days, Laalo stands at a staggering Rs 76.55 crore, becoming not only the highest-grossing Gujarati film of all time but also entering the national charts as the 36th biggest Indian hit of 2025.The film which has been made on a modest budget of Rs 50 lakh has already turned into an all time blockbuster. What makes Laalo a phenomenon is not its opening but its rise. In an industry where most films peak within the first few weeks, Laalo’s journey went in reverseThe film opened modestly, collecting Rs 33 lakh in Week 1, followed by Rs 27 lakh in Week 2. Ordinarily, such numbers would indicate that the film is going to be out of the theaters but that’s where destiny changed for this film. Powered by exceptional word-of-mouth and deep emotional connect with audiences, Laalo witnessed a rare third-week surge with Rs 62 lakh. Then came the explosion.Week 4 collections shot up to an astonishing Rs 12.08 crore, marking one of the biggest jumps ever recorded for a Gujarati-language film. Week 5 delivered a sensational Rs 25.70 crore, turning the film into a full-blown blockbuster. The momentum held strong, with Week 6 closing at Rs 24.40 crore, proving that Laalo was running almost entirely on repeat viewership and massive public endorsement. The extraordinary run continued into Week 7 as well. The film added Rs 9.95 crore over the seventh weekend alone, showing minimal signs of slowing down even deep into its theatrical journey. On Day 46 (Monday), Laalo earned Rs 1.50 crore, taking its total to Rs 74.85 crore. A day later, Day 47, the film added another Rs 1.70 crore, pushing its grand total to Rs 76.55 crore. With this, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate has surpassed the lifetime collections of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi‘s Bhool Chuk Maaf (Rs 72.73 crore) and Pradeep Ranganathan‘s Dude (Rs 73.13 crore). It now ranks as the 36th biggest hit of the year across all Indian languages, a monumental accomplishment for Gujarati cinema. And going by the trends the film is far from its theatrical run coming to an end, the film is expected to cross Rs 80 crore mark over the weekend and start its journey towards Rs 85 crore mark.

Ankit Sakhiya dude Hello Krishna always support me Karan Joshi lol Pradeep Ranganathan rajkummar rao Shruhad Goswami sorry for mistake Wamiqa Gabbi
