Though the film boasts strong performances from Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun, it is Akshaye Khanna who has unexpectedly become the film’s biggest talking point on social media. And now, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has openly declaring her admiration for the actor.

Earlier today, Sunita had a small chat with paparazzi at the airport, where she openly praised Dhurandhar and Akshaye Khanna’s performance in the film.“Dhurandhar, what a picture this friend made. Akshaye Khanna did a great job, it was fun. How beautiful you are looking, how handsome. He has made a comeback. My favourite. Ranveer Singh is my favourite, but now Akshay Kumar too, Akshaye Khanna sorry. I did my best. Maza aa gaya picture dekh ke (What a film Dhurandhar was! Akshaye Khanna was absolutely brilliant — I thoroughly enjoyed it. He looks so good, so handsome. It feels like a proper comeback for him. He’s my favorite now. As social media continues to celebrate Akshaye Khanna’s transformation, he has chosen distance over publicity. Fans were therefore taken by surprise when a rare video of the actor surfaced online. Shared by a priest named Shivam Mhatre on Instagram, the clip shows Akshaye Khanna performing a Vastu Shanti hawan at his Alibaug home.
Dhurandhar box office performance
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has struck gold at the box office, storming past Rs 430 crore in domestic collections. Led by Ranveer Singh, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun. The makers have officially announced Dhurandhar Part Two, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
