Actress Celina Jaitly has been in the news recently for filing a plea to the Delhi High Court to ask for help for her brother Major Vikrant Jaitley who has been detained in the United Arab Emirates for 14 months. Meanwhile now, in a shocking turn of events, the actress has taken a legal action against her husband, Austrian hotelier and businessman Peter Haag and accused him of domestic violence. Approaching the court under the Domestic Violence Act, she has accused Haag of cruelty, manipulation, and physical abuse, according to a report by News18 Showsha. Following her application, a Mumbai court has issued an official notice to Haag. Celina has alleged that the Ministry of External Affairs has been unable to provide her family with even basic details about his “condition, legal status, or well-being” since his reported detention in September 2024. Acting on her plea, the Delhi court directed authorities to ensure the family can contact him and facilitate communication between him, Celina, and his wife.
