Priyanka Chopra is currently wrapping up the final leg of promotions for her film ‘The Bluff’, but as per the actress’ latest post, she may also be lining up her next. Interestingly, this next project could see her reuniting with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ramin Bahrani, years after their acclaimed collaboration on ‘The White Tiger’.The actress, recently caught Bahrani’s attention during one of her interviews. On Thursday, the director shared a clip from the conversation on his Instagram Stories. In the video, Priyanka reflected on her early years in Hollywood, revealing that she once lost out on a film role because of her ethnicity.

Looking back, she said, “My ethnicity was my strength in this movie. That’s what was required of her (my character). I think that constantly standing up for yourself and seeking work that may be harder to attain, but you kind of keep pushing and doing the auditions, meeting the right people, and trying to get the job, that kind of cracks open the door. So since I met you then to now, I think I have just been doing that. And eventually finding allies.“
Ramin Bahrani teases next with Priyanka Chopra
Reposting the clip originally shared by TIFF, Bahrani praised the actor, writing, “The great @priyankachopra Can’t wait for our next one.”Priyanka was quick to respond in the comments, enthusiastically urging him, “Come on, let’s finally do it! We’ve talked about it for too long!”The director then shared her reply on his own handle, adding, “Count on it PCJ.”While no official announcement has been made, it would be interesting to see what the pair puts out next. They last worked together on ‘The White Tiger’ that scored the director an Oscar nomination Best Adapted Screenplay at the 93rd Oscars (2021).
