Salman Khan turned heads at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah on Thursday. During the event, the actor revealed that he hasn’t gone out for dinner in over 25 years, sticking instead to a strict routine of “ghar se shooting, airport, ya hotel.“The festival appearance was his second, following his presence at the Golden Globes gala a day earlier, where he mingled with international stars such as Idris Elba and Edgar Ramirez.
Salman Khan’s routine
During his appearance, Salman offered a candid glimpse into his personal life. The actor admitted that it has been more than 25 years since he last went out for dinner, saying, “Bas ghar se shooting, airport, ya hotel.” Reflecting on his long-standing routine, he added, “It’s been 25-26 years that I haven’t gone out for dinner anywhere. Shooting from home, shooting from home, airport from home, airport to hotel and hotel to destination. That’s it. This is my life.”
On keeping a close circle
Opening up about his close-knit inner circle, Salman admitted that he prefers keeping only a few trusted people around him. “Most of my life I’ve always been around my family and friends, a lot has come out of me and there are only 4-5 who have been with me since a long time,” he shared. Discussing how he manages the constant attention that comes with fame, Khan added, “And I don’t mind it… He gives me so much respect and love… I work hard for him… I feel a little complacent in between… But I also enjoy him wondering what is to come.”
Upcoming project: ‘Battle of Galwan ,
On the work front, Salman Khan is all set to star in ‘Battle of Galwan’, a war drama that revisits the India–China conflict at the Galwan Valley. The film, helmed by director Apoorva Lakhiatakes inspiration from a powerful chapter featured in the book India’s ‘Most Fearless 3’.
