Stock market today on Muhurat trading 2025: Indian equity benchmark indices, Nifty50 and BSE Sensex, opened in green for the one-hour special Diwali Muhurat trading session on Tuesday. While Nifty50 was above 25,900, BSE Sensex went up by over 250 points. At 1:46 PM, Nifty50 was trading at 25,922.25, up 79 points or 0.31%. BSE Sensex was at 84,613.81, up 250 points or 0.30%.The top BSE gainers were Infosys, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Adani Ports, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Steel, BEL and Power Grid. The top losers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, and Titan.The wider market indices showed positive movement with BSE MidCap rising by 162.73 points or 0.35 per cent, whilst BSE SmallCap advanced by 511.25 points or 0.96 per cent. The market witnessed uniform positive performance across sectors, with notable strength in Industrials, Information Technology, and Services indices.
