Amid the festive vibes and Diwali celebrations, we sat for a candid conversation with Pollywood queen Neeru Bajwa. The renowned actress, while speaking with us, shared that when it comes to Diwali, it is all about the tradition, food, and fun. From eating mithai (sweets) for dinner to visiting Gurudwara, she candidly shared her Diwali traditions. “Diwali is a day full of love and positivity, and gratefulness, as is every day. On Diwali, we always go to the Gurdwara. At times, I am working and away, I decorate my room with diyas and go to the gurdwara and have a delicious meal on my own,” said Neeru Bajwa.

The ‘Jatt & Juliet’ actress is one of the fittest divas of the entertainment industry. She is very disciplined when it comes to her health. The actress never misses a day of workout (she didn’t leave the gym even during pregnancy). However, when it comes to enjoying festive delicacies, she is a true foodie. She told us, “I looooove gujiya (I eat a box of those), I love dal. And roti with full butter, and loads of mithai (sweets). Basically, I eat miathi for dinner.”
Neeru Bajwa gets nostalgic
During our conversation, the actress walked down memory lane and shared some cherished moments from her childhood. “My favorite childhood memories are going to the gurdwara and seeing everyone being simply so happy. The Gurdwara used to be, and to date, stays all lit up.” And speaking of lights, she also revealed who she considers the light of her life – her children. “The light of my life is and always will be my children, the greatest blessing of my life,” concluded the actress.

Neeru Bajwa is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘Madhaniyan.’ It is a family entertainer, mixed with emotions and humor. Slated to release on October 31, 2025, the movie also stars Dev Kharoud and Nav Bajwa in lead roles.
